DPhil Student

Yiru joined the Paediatrics Neuroimaging group as a DPhil student in 2023, under the supervision of Associate Professor Caroline Hartley. She aims to better understand the impact of apnoea in premature infants and to investigate whether we can predict when apnoeas can occur so that their negative effects can be avoided. She is funded by the Department of Paediatrics

Yiru graduated with an undergraduate master's degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London. Her research interests lie in the clinical application of mathematical models and machine learning methods.
