Odunayo Fatunla

DPhil Student

MBBS, MSc Tropical Paediatrics, FWACP (Paediatrics)

Odunayo joined the Paediatric Neuroimaging group in 2023. She is a DPhil student, under the supervision of Associate Professor Caroline Hartley, Dr Eleri Adams, and Dr Coen Zandvoort. Her research focuses on identifying clinical biomarkers for individualized caffeine therapy in the management of apnoea of prematurity. She is funded by The Clarendon Fund in partnership with the Lincoln College Kingsgate Graduate Scholarship.

Odunayo holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Igbinedion University, Nigeria and an MSc degree in Tropical Paediatrics (Distinction) from the University of Liverpool. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Paediatrics). She worked as a Consultant Paediatrician and a Clinical Lecturer at Afe Babalola University and its Multi-System Hospital, Nigeria before commencing her DPhil studies.
