When a baby is born their brain and lungs are still developing. This is especially the case when babies are born prematurely. This can lead to apnoea (a pause in breathing). Click on the animations to find out more about babies' brain and lung development, and how apnoea is treated. These versions contain subtitles and are bite-sized.
